Merry Christmas!!!

We are just about ready for Christmas, just a couple more people to buy for. Cheyenne got her Christmas pictures taken so we can send them across the world(literally, some go to Scotland). We are excited to see our families for Christmas and show off our perfect little angel!!

Our first family vacation

We took a trip to Jackson Hole, WY and Yellowstone this summer. Cheyenne was 8 weeks old. It was alot of fun, but ALOT of driving!! Even an 8 week old doesn't want to be in the car that long. We went with my parents(Grandpa and Grandma Beckstrom), my Grandma Beckstrom(Cheyenne's Great-Grandma)and my Uncle Jeff. It was nice.

Halloween

When we had her pictures taken in her blessing dress, I also had them take a few of her in her kitty costume. She was a babe!! On Halloween we went down to her Grandma North's and helped her hand out candy. Her Grandma was Dorothy, so when she was holding her, everyone thought she was supposed to be Toto. :) All in all, she had a good time (I think).

Cheyenne's Blessing Dress

Cheyenne was blessed on August 3rd. We were so caught up in the day and family that we didn't take one picture! I know, terrible parents!! So about 6 weeks later my mom and I took her to have them taken at Target in her dress.

She looks like a doll!

At 6 weeks old my mom and I took Cheyenne to have her pictures taken. She did great! I can't tell you how many times I overhear people say, "That baby looks like a doll." and yes she does.

Cheyenne Laura North

Cheyenne was born at about 1AM on May 31, 2008. She was 3 weeks early. I had Pre-eclampsia(REALLY high blood pressure)so I had to be induced. The whole thing only took 5 hours and she was so small that it was a breeze! She weighed 4LBS 13OZ and was 16 1/2 inches long. The doctor said she probably stopped growing about 2 weeks before this but her lungs and everything continued to develop. So needless to say, she was perfect, just petite. Her dad and I worked graveyard shifts the night before so we were happy yet exhausted yet excited to see her!!

Ouch!

It's been a while since I blogged but I have a good reason!! I had my tonsils removed and had a deviated septum (it's in your nose) repaired. It was tough! I haven't ever been so miserable! You'd be suprised how much you swallow!!!!

But we're not most people. Today I was eating my fries I had with lunch and she kept screaming at me. So I gave her one. She loves the french fries!!!!!!!

So most people start their kids out on veggies like peas or carrots........

Yay!!
